Winners for Challenge #151 - A Sketch from Nance

Wow!  Circles and flowers, butterflies and doilies...we always enjoy the different ways a sketch can be interpreted and this week our players had fun with it!  A big thank you goes out to all who participated in the challenge.

Cindy's headlining card is so gorgeous, I had to coin a new (to me) acronym!  CAB...Clean and Beautiful!  The design and all the elements have clean lines but the effect is anything but simple.  Lovely layers, rich colors, perfectly positioned elements and stunning pearl accents takes it straight to the Headlines!  Congratulations, Cindy--we're so glad you shared this beauty with us!

Challenge #151 - A Sketch from Nance

Hi there, friends! Nance here and I am pleased to bring you this week's challenge...a sketch! Our sketch uses certain shapes but feel free to use whatever inspires you.  As long as we can see the "bones" of the sketch, it's good for The Paper Players! 


Sadly, this is our last week with our fabulous group of Guest Designers.  They have been  hard-working, creative and a fun group to work with! We ask a lot of our GDs and they jumped right in and accepted the challenge.  From the whole team to you: Amy, Sandy, Justin, Brian and Jen... Winner's for Challenge #150 - Anne Marie's CAS "Bring on the Bling" Challenge

Wow! What a fantastic week of submissions for our Clean and Simple "Bring on the Bling" Challenge. So many wonderful ideas shared and a big thank you goes out to all who participated in the challenge.

Cassandra's card really caught my eye with it's clean design and fun layout. I love how the leaves pop off the card ever so slightly and the sentiment really pops stamped in white ink on the black card stock. The bling is the perfect finishing touch to dress up the design beautifully. Congratulations to you Cassandra, on being my choice for Headliner this week!

Who can resist this crafty, little kitty? I know I certainly couldn't! From it's tummy filled with mini-goldfish to it's curled up tail, this feisty feline is the cat's meow for sure! In addition, Laura paired this card up with an adorable little fishing satchel for a double dose of cuteness.  Congratulations, Laura, for being my choice for Headliner this week!

Challenge #149: Ann's Color Challenge

Winners - Paper Players # 148 - Jaydee's Theme Challenge

aydee here! What a fabulous selection of submissions for the theme challenge this week.  It was such fun visiting your creations to see your own individual takes on what summer meant to you.  
Before we get to my selection for our Headliner, let's have a look at the Design Team's selections for A Cut Above.

I immediately fell in love with Karly's step card. It is beautifully composed and each layer full of interest and texture.  I also loved that Karly kept it to a fairly tone-on-tone color scheme, with just a little pop of green.  The twine that anchors the tag and the fan coral were the perfect finishing touches.  Absolutely gorgeous.
